Why We Are Different

I urge you to read why the experience I offer as a Broker/Officer is different compared to other real estate agents in the Placer and Sacramento area.

I have valuable construction experience which, as your Broker, helps me notice potential red flags in the home you are interested in buying.
I’ve been involved in construction for most my life. From hauling buckets of concrete for my tile setter father, working for construction companies prior to my real estate career to being personally involved in the planning, development, and construction stages of single family homes to large apartment complexes.  I’ve also owned and operated my own large property management company and have built my home from the ground up.

As your Broker, I offer the knowledge to point out inadequate quick fixes which were completed in a substandard fashion. Unfortunately for the new home owner many agents/brokers don’t know to look for land mines like double tapping electrical circuits, substandard room additions, or over hang encroachments. For example, let’s say your agent shows you a home with a new deck, paint, new aluminum siding, ect. You’re elated you’ve found a home and making a smart investment, meanwhile; your agent is looking forward to his commission.  Once all papers are signed you come to find out aluminum siding is often used as a quick fix to cover dry rot from the original wood siding of the quickly refurbished home.  Your agent didn’t know (or chose not to point out) that termite companies usually don’t remove siding on homes to check for termite, water, or dry rot damage.

It is critical when looking to buy or sell a home to choose a seasoned Broker that not only offers extensive knowledge during your home buying process, but truly has your best interests and the interests of your future in mind.
 
I have thirty years worth of residential and commercial background in the Placer/Sacramento area.
In other words, I’m a local.  My family and I grew up in the Auburn area where I attended local public schools, fished all the local ponds and creeks, and made life-long friends who’ve become prominent land and business owners in the area.  The knowledge I offer, however, goes far behind my familiarity with the area. My expertise includes subdividing, plottage, boundary line adjustments, easements, encroachments, potability/productivity, ect. I have worked with governmental agencies, the water board, fish and game, army core of engineers, and wetland mitigation.
I am confident very few (if any) agents/brokers can offer the unique knowledge I have of the Placer/Sacramento area or the broad range of proficiency I contribute to your home buying experience.
